Log in to Web Host Manager (WHM). In Account Functions link, click on 'Password modification' section. WHM password is not the same as your cPanel password. Select the main account, from the list of accounts given in the window. You will be asked to put a new password for the same. Enter the new password and scroll down to click on 'Change' button. Log off and try to login with the new password.
