Log in to Web Host Manager (WHM). Look at the left side area of WHM window and click the 'Limit Bandwidth usage' link on left side, under Account Functions section. A hosting account's bandwidth limit can not be exceeded. When it is reached, the account will either stop working at the end of month (when limits are reset) or when limits are increased. Every account in WHM has already got a bandwidth limit (It is set on the time of creation of account). You can click on any account to check its bandwidth. The details of account will be listed and by scrolling down, you will be able to see a 'Limit' button. On clicking the button, you will be able to gauge out the bandwidth limits of account (in MB).
You have got an option to change the limit of bandwidth in this section. You can fill in the new value and the limit will be changed. Now, you can see the 'View bandwidth Usage' tab on left side on WHM window. You can click on it and check the bandwidth allotted to each account. It can be checked that how much bandwidth of account was used for the previous month. You have an option to view the limits in Mega Bytes by clicking on the button.
